Meet the Author
Marian Audrey Mattice is a retired educator with more than 33 years of experience in Elementary and Special Education. A graduate of Geneseo State University, she dedicated most of her career to teaching in the Catskill Mountains of New York, where she inspired generations of young learners.
After retiring from public education, Marian continued working in various teaching, curriculum, and educational leadership roles. She now lives in Oneonta, New York, with her husband, where she enjoys writing, teaching, and spending time at her cottage along the Delaware River, a peaceful retreat that inspires her creativity.
